Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Under general supervision, responsible for working with internal customers and financial intermediaries, on the phone and in writing, to fully meet and exceed their needs. Utilizes computer systems to access account information, reference materials and the letter writing function. Responsible for providing expertise in the research and allocation of incoming sales and redemptions, as well as overseeing departmental efforts in maintaining and increasing the integrity of Distributor's databases.
Key Responsibilities / Duties: Communicates well with both peers and management.
Consistently complies with policies and procedures of Invesco and Data Management.
Uses strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple open projects that are to be completed in a timely manner with a high level of quality.
Develops strong understanding of Industry terms and definitions.
Displays enthusiasm, dedication and professionalism at all times.
Demonstrates the ability to effectively work with little or no supervision.
Proactively identifies, analyzes, and communicates procedural improvements.
Demonstrates strong follow-up skills.
Works effectively within a team environment.
Identifies department needs and potential solutions; suggest ideas for change. Understands system / departmental limitations and helps resolve system issues.
Ability to create and manipulate reports/ spreadsheets in Excel.
Utilizes Retail Marketing systems to maintain and update records.
Work Experience / Knowledge: Financial services experience a plus.Work experience in customer service environment preferred.Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required: Strong communication skills.Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities and concentrate on detailed information sometimes under stressful conditions.Strong reasoning skills and an aptitude for problem solving.Ability to cooperate in a team environment.Proficiency with keyboarding and computer fundamentals in a Windows environment.Basic mathematical skills necessary.Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)High School Diploma required.Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, or temperatures.The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hour may very depending upon the project or assignment.Hours may include evenings, weekends or overtime.
