Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Service desk professional for minimum 2 year contract with the possibility of extension. The role is located in Charlottetown P.E.I and is an excellent opportunity to join a great organization with exceptional growth potential.
In this job you will act as the frontline interface between the Information Technology department and all end users. You will be responsible for receiving incoming support requests via phone/email, ticket creation/assignment, Level 1 problem resolution and escalation to Level 2 and 3 staff when appropriate. The ideal candidate will deliver an efficient and productive end-user experience while adhering to company and IT policies and processes.
To be considered for this role you must have experience monitoring and administrating IT communications. You must also have experience in monitoring computer hardware, software and environmental factors impacting the performance of systems. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of industry standards and monitoring tools.
